  1. I believe that the poem tells you that the aspects of life can be brought out through imagery of the ocean and what else nature can do to connect to that normal aspects of LIFE.

  2. I personally feel the poem is about a viloent storm that is soon approaching and quieting all of the rest of nature.

  3. I think the poem is talking about how he wants someone to be his partner through life and be there through the rough times, and or "the storm" that is being discussed throughout the poem. He wants this someone who he is talking about to be his "love in the rain" as in the good in life during the bad times.

  4. This poem shows us how we as humans have forgot about nature as a whole. Also forgot how important nature is to the world.

  5. This poem uses a lot of imagry to explain what the speaker is trying to express. The poem connects nature and love and explains how they are related to eachother.

  6. I think that Robert Frost uses symbolism with love and hardships and expresses it through nature. How nature is a key thing in society and we look past it. He also yearns for somone to love that'll help him get through the hardship as he would help them in their hard times.

  7. I think Frost is just explaining his love of nature and it's importance, and how it will always be there for him.

  8. I think this poem is about nature and the different conditions in weather. This poem is also talking about the importance of weather and how it effects living things on earth. Also Frost connects nature and love and how they relate.

  9. I feel that this poem is a description of Frost's realatshionship with someone and he is describing the emotional journey thru the diffrent things that happen in nature.

  10. i think this poem is about Robert's Frost outlook on his life and how unpredictable it is just like the storm. i also think this poem is about nature and how much Frost loves nature.

  11. I feel that the poem expresses Frost's views of the natural things on earth. But like many of his other poems, where the things in things in the poem to his own life, I think that Frost is connecting nature and life to himself and his own life.

  12. I agree with Alexia, Frost is relating his relationship and his journey thru life to nature. This is because nature is unpredictable, and so is life so you have to be prepared.

  13. I also agree with Sam, in many of Frost poems he relates different things back to his own personal life. The reason for this is because many different things happen throughout life, and you can relate them to different scenarios.

  14. I think that this poem is talking about frost's two love's, Nature and his wife. I believe this because he says, "And be my love in the Rain". I believe he uses hints involving nature to describe his love for his wife

  15. The poem seems to be describing his want for a partner in life possibly a wife or maybe just someone to take the journey with. It uses alot of imagery and clearly is focused on nature which his poems usually are.

  16. I would have to agree with tif that he wants someone else to be there with him and all the time and go on a journey with that person.

  17. Robert Frost wrote this poem to explain his love for nature, and to compare a rainy storm to life's ups and downs.

  18. I disagree with Zack because he thinks that Frost is talking about the two things he loves the most and I think there is only one thing that Frost loves. Frost is using nature to describe what he loves.

  19. I agree whith what Sam is saying,in that Frost is using nature to describe what he loves.

  20. I was absent so i am posting my first comment now. I think as always this poem also starts with describing beautiful nature and then tells us that some danger is approaching. Robert frost uses nature in this poem to say that happiness is followed by danger. Happiness is what he describes in the beginning and danger is the violent storm coming soon.

  22. I do not understand how everyone saw that the speaker is looking for love, partner but I do agree with Emily, the author uses a lot of imagery in this poem.

  23. I agree with Sam Raheb's second comment. I think Robert Frost only loves one thing and that is nature. That is most likely the reason why he uses nature in most of his poems.

  24. I agree with alot of the people on this blog about how Frost's poems are about nature and he is talking about his love for nature. He thinks nature will always be there for him through life's ups and downs.

  25. i agree with sam because Robert Frost relates all of his poems to his life and everything that happened in his life he puts it into his poems to give it a realistic view.

  26. i agree with hailey because Robert Frost wants a partner in life and he says its like a storm because storms are very unpredictable and its a bumpy road.

  27. In a way I agree with Anthony in how Robert Frost is saying that life, like nature, is unpredictable.

  28. i beleave frost is showing us how nature is very beautiful and should be cherished. and the storm is technology advancing and pushing us away from nature or killing it. so i believe that frost is trying to tell us to keep nature and admire it while we still can

  29. i agree with tif there is alot of strong imagery about nature and frost seems lonely/sad. i dont think hes looking for a partner but he is looking for something.

  30. i agree with emilys point on how nature and love are related because love is happy and gives peace. like nature its a happy place and is peaceful

  31. I agree with Tiffany about how the speaker may be looking for a partner. Nature may seem like that "partner" for him.

  32. Marci said that Frost connects nature and love and how they relate. I agree with this and i think Frost knows that nature will always be there for him, so he thinks he loves nature.

  33. I think zack is a little confused... "I think that this poem is talking about frost's two love's, Nature and his wife. I believe this because he says, "And be my love in the Rain". I believe he uses hints involving nature to describe his love for his wife" I think its more of a connection between how love and nature are similar to someone who appriecates them.

  34. And I agree with both Palombo and Sam that love and nature is both unpredictable.

  35. I agree whith what Alex said in his last 2 posts. Thats something i thought aswell.

  36. I believe that the poem is talking about how life is unpredictable just like a storm and that just like storms can be quick so can your life.

  37. i also agree with Sam when he say that frost is in love with nature and that is all he talks about. becasue not only do you see him talking about nature here you also see it in the poem in Stopping by the wood where he relates life to the woods.

  38. i agree with tifs comment where she says that frost is looking for someone to take the journey with. Because he talks about being alone alot except for when he is surronded by nature.
